WriteStuff will proofread website content, reports, résumés, presentations and seminar materials, press releases, social media content, speeches, stories and features for industry or general media publication, instruction manuals and technical documents, promotional material, theses and dissertations.
With proofreading we will look at the grammar content in your copy: punctuation, syntax, compound words and prepositions et cetera, and also typographical errors, correct spelling and vocabulary usage.
If your copy is perfect and in need of no work, we'll tell you, we'll congratulate you - we may even offer you a job - but few writers' copy is absolutely perfect first around. However, if your copy is need of a little more refinement, you probably need our editing services.
Editing not only looks at the services provided by proofing, but will examine closely the tone of the copy, its style, consistency, target audience's level of technical understanding and the structure of the entire piece of copy.
